The BYU Experience

BYU seeks to develop students of faith, intellect, and character who have the skills and desire to continue learning and to serve others with their talents. We help with this goal by providing an uplifting atmosphere of learning and of faith.

Devotionals, counselor-led scripture study, firesides, and interaction with faculty, counselors, and peers who have the same goals and values all add to the unique spiritual environment of BYU.

"I loved doing what I love to do for two weeks with people that share the same values as I do. It's fun to learn and improve on skills but also take time to talk about the gospel and feel the spirit!"

"Theatre camp was by far the best life experience I have had so far."

“I’ve had more spiritual experiences here than I ever thought I would! Any Latter-day Saint who loves theater should come to this camp.”

Financial Aid

BYU Conferences and Workshops offers a limited number of partial-tuition assistance awards for students who would not otherwise be able to attend the program. These do not cover airfare or spending money. Because requests always exceed available funds, the financial aid process is competitive. Decisions are based on merit and financial need. Applications are available by calling 801-422-5080 or emailing us at cw169@byu.edu and are due in our office no later than April 14, 2017. Applications are not available online. Applying for financial aid does not guarantee a spot in a program.

Refund Policy

A $50 handling fee will be assessed on all refunds requested up to two weeks before the program begins. No refunds will be given after June 9, 2017. All refund requests can be mailed to BYU Conferences and Workshops, 169 Harman Continuing Education Building, Provo, UT 84602, or faxed to 801-812-8491.
